I had a friend reach out and ask if I had a turkey burger recipe. The truth is, I am not the biggest fan of ground turkey. I tend to find it a bit gamey, and most of the time I really prefer ground chicken, ground pork, or ground beef. The next time you are at the store, take a look at the nutritional information for yourself, and compare it to other ground meats.
If you love ground turkey, then enjoy it! …and if you’re like me, and don’t favor it, I think you will come to the same conclusion that I did– there really is nothing nutritionally superior about ground turkey at all.
…but of course I still have a recipe for turkey burgers, and after I made this delicious turkey burger, with that creamy Dijon mustard sauce, I had to take back every mean thing I’ve ever said about ground turkey! It was so so good!
