After the holidays, a vacation, or even just a weekend when I go a bit off of my plan, the best time for me to get right back on track is at my very next breakfast. I find that getting in great nutrition and a fair amount of protein, right at my first meal, really sets the tone for the rest of the day.
The macros listed below include the butter and maple syrup that I decided to add when I made this one, but the waffle alone has the same protein and fiber and comes in at only 371 calories! You can use your imagination and top it however you like!
This simple little waffle is really substantial and will easily kept you full until lunch. It is a great recipe idea for any day, but especially after you’ve had your FILL of other things. Your body will thank you for getting back to your normal.
