You get let your food processor do all of the chopping on this one!
To make the sauce, sauté the garlic in the olive oil until fragrant, then add the rest of the ingredients with a little water to rinse out the tomato can.
Simmer the sauce on low, partially covered, while you make the meatballs.
For the meatballs, put the onion, carrot, celery, garlic, and parsley into a food processor and process until the vegetables are minced.
Combine the minced vegetables with the beef, bread crumbs, milk, cheese, egg and seasonings, and form into 12 meatballs.
Brown the meatballs on all sides, then gently transfer the partially cooked meatballs to the sauce to finish cooking.
Serve with your favorite pasta, and enjoy!
